According to ebay seller kept4u, these afghans are from Fleisher Afghans, Vol. 58 pattern book. The 22 page book has a 1939 copyright by Fleisher Yarns, Inc. Most of the patterns in the book are crochet, there is only one knitting pattern. Patterns in the book include:
