I have 18 skeins of vintage black mohair I bought on ebay (about 1080 yards). I am thinking of knitting a sweater shaped like this from it.Seems that if I got the right size needles so the gauge was correct I could use this pattern. It looks easy enough...

Though I might not have quite enough yarn...
Perhaps I could make the cuffs and trim from another color like dark brown or olive.
